Haizlett Woodworks is a father and son operation. Working out of our woodshop on top of a hill in West Virginia, we create works of art from the trees on the family farm. Most of the trees are salvaged from landslides or blow-downs. We take our old 78 Ford pickup out into the woods and drag the trees down to "Uncle Steve's" sawmill, where we saw out the boards, air dry them for a year or two, and build things out of them. Mostly Will works with the sawn lumber, building fine furniture, while Jim works with raw tree trunks and roots, creating wooden sculptures.
